Lloyd Van’t Hoff gives another outing of my A Mad Tea-Party for clarinet and electronics in Melbourne!
Acclaimed Melbourne duo clarinettist Lloyd Van’t Hoff and pianist Peter de Jager perform old classics, advocate for Australian composition and incorporate their love of music outside the western tradition.
Clarinettist Lloyd Van’t Hoff and pianist Peter de Jager bring youthful vigour to inspiring music from the far corners of the world. From Carl Maria von Weber’s dramatic Grand Duo Concertante to the thrilling insanity of Australian Holly Harrison’s Alice in Wonderland inspired Mad Tea-Party, and pianist Peter de Jager’s own Latin Rhapsody, a vibrant dance party incorporating Brazilian choro, Spanish serenades and 12th-century organum, the duo offers a visceral and engaging musical experience.
